Here is some of useful information for parents and carers of our students.

 

Our School Day

Our school day runs from 9am – 3pm. A typical day looks like this:

• Morning registration: 9am - 9:10am

• Assembly/tutor time: 9:10am - 9:30am

• Period 1: 9:30am - 10:10am

• Period 2: 10:10am - 10.50am

• Break: 10.50am - 11:20am

• Period 3: 11:20am - 12pm

• Lunch: 12pm - 12.30pm

• Lunch break: 12.30pm - 1pm

• Afternoon registration: 1pm - 1:05pm

• Period 4: 1:05pm - 1:45pm

• Period 5: 1.45pm - 2.25pm

• Period 6: 2.25-3pm

• Taxis: 3pm

 

Break and Lunch

We have a toast break in the morning (we supply toast or fruit and a drink) before pupils can have time outdoors (weather permitting). At lunchtime all pupils are provided with the cooked meal of the day, or the option of a sandwich or salad.

 

Absences

Permission must be sought for planned absences, such as holidays or appointments, via a letter to the Headteacher. If permission is not provided, their absence shall be recorded as an unauthorised absence. You can find out more in our Attendance Policy.
